The 488 is the mid-engined car — the one people book for a birthday, a track booking or a photograph. Two seats, a V8 directly behind them, and a noise that makes the drive the event rather than the transport to it.
The California is the softer one and the more useful: a folding hard roof, a boot that takes real luggage, and a temperament that survives a traffic jam. That is why it is the Ferrari most often hired for a whole weekend rather than an afternoon.
The Purosangue is the four-door. Four seats, four-wheel drive, rear doors that open backwards, and the only Ferrari here that can genuinely do an airport run. It is the one to ask about when the day involves other people.
All three go out self-drive and fully insured, or with a chauffeur when the car is being photographed rather than driven. Delivered to an address in London or to the venue. VAT, mileage and comprehensive insurance are inside the quoted figure. Self-drive here is the stricter tier — 30 to 70, with a licence held five years.

The Purosangue, and it is the only one of the three. Four individual seats, a boot that takes a couple of cases, rear doors hinged at the back that close on a button, and four-wheel drive, which the other two do not have. The 488 is a strict two-seater with room for one soft bag in the nose. The California is a two-plus-two, but its rear seats take bags more comfortably than they take adults. That suits a shoot or an arrival where the car is being photographed rather than driven, and it suits very little else. The California adds a folding roof and a pair of rear seats better suited to bags than to people, and the Purosangue is the one that seats three behind a driver. Either way the car is delivered to an address in London or to the venue, with no delivery charge inside London.
