Anyone named on the hire agreement who meets the eligibility, and nobody else. For supercars and premium luxury that is aged 30 to 70 with a licence held five years; for everything else, 25 to 70 with three years. Actors are no exception, so send licence details early. It is the check most likely to hold a car up on the morning.
The hire is comprehensively insured and that cover sits inside the quoted figure, but a shoot asks more of a car than commuting does, so the terms are written against what it is actually doing. Tell us before you book if it will be rigged, carried on a low-loader, driven hard or damaged in shot.
Often, and it is worth asking early. Where a second identical car sits in our own fleet we hold both against your shoot days; where it does not, we contract one in, and that is the part that needs lead time. Colour, year and trim are what a double gets caught on.
Overrun is assumed rather than treated as a breach — the day is quoted knowing schedules move, and a car running past wrap is ordinary here. A date change is usually workable with notice; the constraint is rarely the car, it is the driver. If the shoot has moved to tomorrow, call 0207 046 0048 rather than emailing.
As one inclusive figure per vehicle per day, with VAT, mileage and comprehensive insurance already inside it and no delivery charge in London. Nothing is added afterwards. A standby or static day is quoted as its own line rather than folded into the shoot rate.
