The cars for this

See the whole fleet

A grand tourer rather than a track car: two doors, a long bonnet, and a boot that takes soft bags for a weekend. The rear seats are there, but they are for coats.

View car

Mid-engined two-seater with a dual-clutch automatic and room for one soft bag in the nose. It wants a clear road, not the King's Road on a Saturday.

View car

A two-seat mid-engined coupe small enough to use on ordinary roads. One soft bag fits in the front boot, and that is the entire luggage allowance.

View car

Electric, low and four-doored, with a boot at the back and a second one under the bonnet. Quiet enough that the back seat is a decent place to make a call.

View car

A two-door, four-seat coupe for long motorway runs rather than short hops. The rear seats suit children or a brief trip; the boot takes a couple of soft bags.

View car

A large five-seat SUV with the running gear turned up. Same boot and same back seat as the ordinary Q8, so it does the school run and the motorway without complaint.

How it works

Start a booking
  1. Pick the car

    01

Tell us which one and which dates, and the price for those days comes back.

  2. Say who is driving

    02

Names, ages and how long each licence has been held — that decides the tier.

  3. We deliver it

    03

To your door in London, valeted and fuelled, or you collect from Battersea or Heathrow.

Tell us which car and which dates.

We will come back with one inclusive figure for that vehicle on those days. The phone is answered Monday to Saturday, 06:00 to 23:00, on 0207 046 0048.

Anything else, call +44 207 046 0048. A person picks up, 06:00 to 23:00, Monday to Saturday.

Season Car Rental hires self-drive to drivers aged 25 to 70 who have held a full licence three years, and aged 30 to 70 with five years for supercars and premium luxury vehicles. There is no single age, because the insurance behind a saloon and the insurance behind a supercar are different. Chauffeured hire carries no age requirement.

Yes. A Rolls-Royce is a self-drive hire like anything else in the fleet, on the stricter tier: aged 30 to 70, full licence held five years. Ghost, Phantom and Cullinan all go out without a driver, as do the Bentleys and the supercars. A chauffeur is something you add, not something the car obliges you to take.

VAT, comprehensive insurance, a daily mileage allowance and delivery and collection anywhere in London are inside the figure you are quoted. Nothing is added afterwards unless a charge on the schedule has genuinely been incurred, so no delivery fee and no fuel surcharge at the end. If you expect to cover more miles, extend the allowance at booking.

A full driving licence, a proof of address and a credit card in the driver’s own name, all three in the same name. We check them at delivery rather than taking your word at booking, and without all three the car does not leave with you. Additional drivers bring the same documents, and anyone not named is not insured.

It is a hold on a credit card in the driver’s name, not a payment, and it is released once the car is back. The amount is set by the vehicle rather than by a flat rule, because a Phantom and a Defender are not the same exposure, and you are given the figure in writing beforehand.

The vehicle is registered to Season Car Rental, so Transport for London bills us rather than you, and how that is passed on is set out on the rental agreement you sign before collection. Ask when you book: it depends on the car you take, and it is settled after a hire rather than inside the quote.
