Yes. Green lanes, byways open to all traffic, farm and forestry tracks and estate roads are agreed on the hire agreement before you collect, rather than argued about afterwards. What is not covered is off-roading as a sport: dunes, competitive events, rock crawling and water deeper than the published wading depth.
The Defender, if the ground is the point. Land Rover Defender hire runs from a 110 for four people and their kit to the long-wheelbase car for a full shooting party. The G63 is a G-Wagen with the same ability and better manners on a motorway. A Range Rover does the same work in more comfort.
Yes, all three, plus roof racks and dog guards, fitted before the car is delivered. Ask at booking rather than on the day: tyres are a workshop job, not something anybody improvises at a farm gate. If you are towing, we need the weight and what it is, so the vehicle is matched to the load.
Yes, anywhere in the UK. London delivery is already inside the quoted price, and a run to a Scottish estate, a Welsh farm or a location car park is quoted per journey inside the same total. Off-road car hire usually starts a long way from the M25, so it is simpler to hand the car over where the driving begins.
No. Mud is expected on these cars and is not treated as damage; we would rather have one back used than apologised for. The thing worth telling us is salt water or deep mud, so the underside gets a proper wash rather than a valet. Anything genuinely broken is a separate and honest conversation.
Drivers must be 25 to 70 with a full licence held three years for most of the fleet, and 30 to 70 with five years for supercars and premium luxury vehicles. Which tier a given 4x4 falls into is confirmed when you enquire. Additional drivers are added at booking and every licence is checked at handover.
