A business car rental account is a conversation rather than an application form, and four things get agreed on it: the rate card, the billing address and any cost codes, who inside the company may book, and whether you want chauffeured cars, self-drive or both. Nothing goes on a personal card and nothing is expensed back afterwards. Quoted figures are VAT-inclusive, so the only additions are congestion charge, ULEZ and Dartford, passed on at cost with no administration fee.
Yes, and most accounts use both. A client pickup or a board visit is chauffeured; a director driving out to a site takes the keys. Both go through the same account manager, at the same agreed rates, and land on one invoice under their own cost codes. Adding a corporate chauffeur service later does not need a new agreement.
Whoever you name when the account opens, and it is worth naming more than one person. Most accounts run through an EA or an office manager, with a few directors booking directly. The account manager holds that list, so a booking from anybody on it goes into the diary rather than into an approval chain.
Any driver you have named who meets the terms for that class of car. Eligibility is tiered: supercars and premium luxury cars are 30 to 70 with a full licence held five years, everything else 25 to 70 with three years. Name your drivers when the account opens, and add anybody new before they need a car rather than on the morning.
Delivered to whichever office needs them, anywhere in London, and collected from wherever the day ended — the City, Canary Wharf or a site out west are all the same booking. Delivery inside London sits in the quoted price rather than on top of it. If somebody would rather collect, Battersea and Heathrow are the two handover points.
