Two Defenders. The 110 is the five-seat car: it takes four adults, their kit and a dog, tows what a Defender tows, and is as settled on the M4 as it is on a forestry track. The eight-seat 130 is the long one, and it exists for the trips where the whole party travels together — a shoot, a ski transfer from an airport, a wedding where the guests need moving as well as the couple.
Both can be sent out in genuine off-road specification. All-terrain tyres, tow bars, roof racks and roof boxes are fitted before the car leaves us rather than handed over in a box, and green lanes, estate roads and farm tracks are agreed in writing when you book. It comes back muddy, which is expected on these cars and is not treated as damage.
Chauffeured or self-drive, delivered to an address in London or to any London airport. Trips starting outside the M25 are quoted per journey inside the same total, because a Defender bound for a Perthshire estate does not need to begin in Battersea.

Count the people first. The 110 is the five-seater: five doors, split-folding rear seats, a tall square boot and a side-hinged rear door, which is worth knowing about if you park nose-in to a wall. The 130 is the long one and carries a third row, so the eight seats are the reason to take it and the extra length is what you pay for them on a London street. Seat layouts differ between individual Defenders, so we confirm the count on the car we are quoting. The 5.0 is not one we hold; these two are the Defenders on this page.
Yes, as long as we know the ground before the car leaves us. Green lanes, farm and forestry tracks and estate roads are agreed in writing when you book. Off-roading as a sport is not: no dunes, no competitive events and no deep-water crossings. Both Defenders can go out in genuine off-road specification, and the 110 has Terrain Response modes for exactly this. All-terrain tyres are a workshop job rather than something anybody fits at a farm gate, so ask at booking rather than on the day. It comes back muddy, which is expected and is not treated as damage.
Both. A chauffeur earns its keep on the days the driving is a chore rather than the point: a shoot with a long run home in the dark, or the airport leg at the start of a ski week. Self-drive is the other half of it, and eligibility is tiered by vehicle: 25 to 70 with a full licence held three years for most of the fleet, and 30 to 70 with five years for supercars and premium luxury vehicles. Which tier a Defender sits in is confirmed when we quote. Additional drivers are named at booking and every licence is checked at handover.
Eight seats, yes. Eight seats and eight large cases, not usually. The 130's third row carries people rather than luggage, and with all eight up the space behind it is a slot rather than a boot. A roof box or a roof rack changes the arithmetic, and both go on before the car is delivered rather than being handed over on the day. So tell us the head count and what the bags actually are when you enquire: a full party with a week's luggage is often better as two cars, and that is worth settling before the morning of the trip.
